As parents, there are countless times when we need support/advice/help and it’s just not obvious where to find it. Children don’t come with a manual (turn to page 4 for help on epic meltdowns in public places!).
Our experience in the formal education system has shown us that, increasingly, the most asked
questions from parents are not about how to support with the maths homework or tips on how to help with handwriting, but they come from desperate parents. ‘How do I boost my child’s
confidence, make them believe in themselves, help them assert themselves, stop them being paralysed by self-doubt..?’. In reality, most school days are jam packed with the academic curriculum, there is just no time (or expertise) to address these concerns. At Role Models, we passionately believe that in order for children to do well at school and reach their full potential, the most important skills they need to learn are resilience, confidence, collaboration and leadership. Children need to feel good about themselves, understand their feelings and have practical, healthy ways of managing them!
Role Modes has a curriculum written by experienced teachers, with backgrounds in coaching and psychology, all designed to enable children to thrive academically AND emotionally. We also realise that parents need support too! With each of our online and face-to -face courses, we provide parents with detailed summaries about what their children have learnt, tips on how to support children as well as activities to do after the sessions. We have had overwhelmingly positive feedback from children, parents, and the schools we work with that the impact of our content is meaningful and long lasting.

Online
If you’re looking for online courses for children, we have our popular Leadership course running which explores the importance of listening, empathy, seeing yourself as a leader and also encourages your child to identify and use their top 5 strengths when leading others. We also have three of our ‘Brilliant Me’ online courses running (for children age 5-7) including Brilliant Me & My Confidence, Brilliant Me &My Mind and Brilliant Me & My Feelings.
If you’re looking for public speaking courses for children, then we have something on offer both online and face to face. Our online Collaboration Course includes public speaking and interview skills prep which are fantastic skills to develop, especially in preparation for entrance exams and interview situations.
Face to face courses
Role Models are delighted to be offering our courses at The Village Prep School in Hampstead this Christmas.
We are running our Collaboration course as a 3 day face to face course this Christmas, which includes the opportunity to develop teamwork skills and explore how to communicate effectively with others.
For children age 5-7, our Brilliant Me & My Confidence course is running in Hampstead and various venues across London. This course is packed with confidence boosting activities and helps your child to celebrate their strengths and find their voice. The delivery is done through storytelling and creative activities, which is a great way for children to process the learning and link this to their own world. The Christmas break is a great time to relax and recharge; it’s also very beneficial to provide some structure and challenge during this extended break and we believe there’s no better time to help your child develop their life skills whilst having lots of fun!
