Hampstead Hive Member Spotlight - Natasha Mahtani

Tell us about your business, what services do you offer?

As a Certified Relationship Coach, my focus is on empowering women to break free from limiting cultural patterns of thinking that may be holding them back from experiencing fulfilling and healthy relationships. I help my clients challenge gender roles, societal expectations, and cultural norms that have been ingrained into their psyche. By adopting new ways of thinking and breaking free from these patterns, I guide women towards creating stronger and more authentic connections with their partners. My coaching approach involves a combination of self-awareness exercises, communication skills training, and strategies for setting healthy boundaries. By guiding women towards a more liberated and empowered mindset, I help them revolutionize their relationships and create a more positive and fulfilling future. I work with clients 1:1, globally, via zoom and I periodically run online group coaching workshops.

What inspired you to start your business?

I started as a Life Coach, back in 2014 and then became an Accredited Divorce Coach in 2019. I have seen the devastating effects of unhealthy relationships and the toll it takes on my clients. However, as I worked with more clients, I realized that many of them could have avoided the path to divorce if they had engaged with a Relationship Coach earlier in their journey; so in 2020, I did some further training and became a certified Relationship Coach. I now believe that if people engaged with a Relationship Coach when their relationship was in a better place, many of them wouldn't get to Divorce's Doors. By seeking guidance and support earlier on, couples can learn valuable skills for effective communication, conflict resolution, and building a strong foundation for their relationship. This can help them identify and address issues before they become irreparable and lead to the breakdown of the relationship.

How long has your business been running for?

Natasha Coaches turns 5 this year.

What is your favourite aspect about working in the local area?

Primrose Hill/Hampstead has been 'home' for the last 23 years. London seems huge but I love the village feel we have, even though we're in the heart of the city. I also adore the Hampstead Mums community which I have been a part of for a decade now.

Where do you see yourself and your business in five years time?

In the last year, I've had the opportunity to host retreats and workshops for huge organisations like YPO and EO. I've been featured in several large UK publications as well as various global podcasts. I'm looking forward to continuing on this trajectory and have the ability to impact even more people and ensure women are thriving in their relationships. The dream is to one day write a book and have a conversation with Steven Bartlett on his podcast 'Diary of a CEO'. #dreambig

What encouraged you to join Hampstead Hive and what has your experience within the Hivebeen like so far?

I'm all for women supporting women! I truly believe in the term 'collaboration over competition' because when we collaborate, we lift each other up and that can only be a good thing. I've forged some beautiful friendships from the HH community and overall it's been a very supportive network. I appreciate how much both Nitika and Jessica do behind the scenes to ensure our businesses are being amplified.
