Tell us about your business, what services do you offer?
Hedge Travel is an independent travel agency based in West Hampstead, specialising in offering a personal service to plan and book your holidays.
What inspired you to start your business?
I have always wanted my own business, have a passion for travel and really enjoy the planning process of creating itineraries to visit new places. Having my own travel agency where I can help others plan and book the holidays they deserve, saving them time and stress, just made sense.
How long has your business been running for?
I am celebrating Hedge Travel’s 5 years in Business this week! Despite the big setback over the last 20 months due to Covid restrictions, I am very much still business as usual!
What is your favourite aspect about working in the local area?
I love helping the local parents of Hampstead and West Hampstead as they appreciate the value of the time saved finding the right holiday for their family. With not many high street travel agencies on the high street nowadays it’s great to be able to offer this personal service to the local area even without a shop front.
Where do you see yourself and your business in five year’s time?
In 5 year’s time I would love to have a small team assisting me with booking and client services. I would love my own little shop (I have been walking passed a little place on Mill Lane that I can just imagine with my business name on) Hopefully one day you will be able to walk in and say hi, plan a holiday or honeymoon over a glass of bubbly!
What encouraged you to join Hampstead Hive and what has your experience been like so far within the Hive?
I love being part of Hampstead Hive, the women are so supportive on all the social platforms and really encourage you to try and be load and proud of what you have achieved with your business! Also I am very grateful of the opportunities it gives such as promoting my business to the Hampstead Mums community too!
