Hampstead Mums host Scummy Mummies!!

Last night, the very yummy mummies of Hampstead brought out their inner scum with the help of the hilarious comedy duo : Ellie Gibson and Helen Thorn aka the Scummy Mummies. We were also very privileged to have The Mayor of Camden, Councillor Nadia Shah with us. Cllr Nadia Shah has chosen the Anna Freud Centre in Hampstead as her official charity for the forthcoming year, which ties in nicely with Cocoon Family Support (the charity Hampstead Mums has been supporting) - a local charity supporting those affected by postnatal depression.

The thrice sold out event was held at the WAC Arts Centre which amazingly accommodated our ever-growing guest list. With prosecco bottles popping and cheeks in pain from laughing the 113 lucky women, and 2 men, even got in some exercise - ab tightening from laughing and a stronger pelvic floor with a Scummy Mummy led(forced?) group exercise.  And yes, we learned that men can exercise their pelvic floors too.  Who knew this would be such an informative night as well?!
