An average UK family rotates just nine dishes for dinner. Some families cook more, some less, but the average is nine. That is not a very varied diet, is it?

In May 2019, as a busy mum of twins, I got fed up with rotating the same quick dishes, ready made meals and expensive but not very healthy takeaways and purchased a revolutionary kitchen appliance called Thermomix TM6.

Thermomix TM6 can cook, boil, simmer and stew; chop and mince meat, nuts, herbs and vegetables; blend; make yoghurt; sous-vide fish, steaks and vegetables; boil eggs and rice; mill nuts, rice and grains into flour; grind coffee, sugar and nuts; knead dough; whisk; grate; puree and crush. It can replace pretty much every kitchen gadget you own. Suddenly, our family started enjoying delicious restaurant-quality meals daily; only they were significantly cheaper and healthier than those prepared in a restaurant - made with quality oil, hand picked organic ingredients, self-adjusted amounts of sugar and salt etc. Now, on our table there was not only homemade curry, soup, risotto, lemonade, salad, cakes but also homemade ice cream, butter, houmous, spiced nuts, lemonade, cocktails, even bread, pizza and sushi etc - the dishes I never imagined I would prepare by myself. To be honest, we have never eaten such a variety of delicious homemade foods before investing in a Thermomix.

There was also much less cleaning after cooking, and no more tears when chopping onions - Thermomix chops them in a few seconds and it cleans itself. More time for family, less stress - it almost felt like having a private chef move in with us. With daily use, TM6 paid for itself in no time. TM6 is also very energy efficient, a further saving. I was so impressed with my TM6, that I became a Thermomix advisor a few months later sharing my passion with local families and beyond.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST BUSINESS ACHIEVMENT SO FAR?

Seeing customers' smiles and reading their texts listing all the adventurous recipes that they cooked with their new TM6 is what makes me the happiest. Fortunately, as time goes by, there are more and more local families whose lives have been improved by ordering a Thermomix. I've also made friends along the way, among both customers and colleagues. My colleagues are genuinely lovely and inspiring, and I work flexible hours around my family's schedule. With twins in different schools and no nanny it would be quite challenging to balance work and family, but I do. Having this flexible yet fulfilling lifestyle is fantastic at this point in my life. I have a Phd and used to be a full-time university professor and an architectural interior designer, now I don't really work - my hobby is what I do for a living while helping others improve their lives. Having such balance, flexibility and purpose in life is a great achievement.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE NEXT?

My professional goal is that every Hampstead area family would find out about Thermomix and benefit from having one in their home. For that to happen, I need help - more local mums and dads joining my team of advisors and sharing their love for Thermomix with the local community, helping everyone realise what an amazing and life-changing smart kitchen Appliances Thermomix is.

As a Thermomix advisor, there is always something amazing to achieve. So far, I have earned all expenses paid trips to Lisbon, Portugal; Marrakesh, Morocco; Glasgow, Scotland and others. Next year there will be an awards trip to Stockholm, Sweden. Vorwerk is a family owned company and it treats Thermomix advisors and team leaders as family. Trips are just a part of it. It's a great company to work for.

WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU LIKE TO OFFER SOMEONE THINKING OF ENTERING INTO YOUR FIELD?

If you're a stay at home mum, a working mum, a mum who loves cooking, a mum who hates cooking, a mum who doesn't even know how to cook, a mum who would like to earn some cash on the side, a mum who would like to have a flexible career and manage her own time while taking care of her family - Thermomix is for you.

If you do not have a Thermomix yet and are not able to buy one for whatever reason, you would be able to earn a TM6 in just three months, and I would guide and support you in your journey. It is all risk-free, you will not need to buy anything or pay for anything except of a refundable £150 deposit for a loan TM6. The worst that can happen if you are not successful is you will have a loan TM6 in your kitchen for free for 30 days.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECT ABOUT WORKING IN THE LOCAL AREA?
