Tell us about your business, what services do you offer?

At Lily's House London, we create beautiful faux flowers to brighten your home. Whether you're after arrangements, single stems or gifts, we have the highest quality flowers for you.

What inspired you to start your business?

I'm Nicole and having always wanted to start my own business, I searched hard to find something that I would really love and enjoy doing, and something that would allow me to build on my previous experience of 15 years in the fashion industry. This business stemmed from my love of art, fashion, interior and all things flowers! Then came Audrey - fate has it that she is also obsessed with flowers and art (photography in particular)! Having seen the exceptional quality of our flowers and drawing on her experience as a corporate lawyer, she decided to jump on board and get stuck in with a different take on faux flowers. Audrey and I have known each other our whole lives - we LOVE flowers and LOVE working together, what more can you ask for?

How long has your business been running for?

For over nine months.

What is your favourite aspect about working in the local area?

We are fortunate to live in an area where we find inspiration all around us and in particular, during our long walks on Hampstead Heath, the stunning flowers in Golders hill park, Highgate Woods and the cobbled streets of Hampstead.
We also share a passion for street art and more vibrant, urban decors and enjoy doing photoshoots in other local areas such as Chalk Farm, Primrose Hill or Camden.

Where do you see yourself and your business in five years?

In five years time we would like to have achieved our goal of building a brand that is recognised as the 'go to' business for on-trend, high quality flowers. Always offering “a fresh take on faux flowers”. We would love to see ourselves in collaborations with artists and designers. Fundamentally, we would love to be able to give back to society by way of bringing joy to those who need it and contributing more to our local communities. Finally, we are committed to doing our very best for our environment.

What encouraged you to join Hampstead Hive and what has your experience been like so far within the Hive?

I really like that each person brings something unique to the group. It's been great to join Hive and connect with others in the community who are working hard on their incredible businesses.
